Gently used or new children’s and young-adult books — board books, picture books, chapter books, middle grade, and YA. As long as the pages are intact and the cover is in good shape, it’s welcome. We can’t accept books that are torn, moldy, or heavily marked up.

Yes — that’s how most of our collections happen. Tell us where you’d like to run one and we’ll share a simple starter kit: printable flyers, tips on which books to prioritize, and a timeline that fits your calendar.

We deliver directly to shelters and community organizations serving families facing hardship. Every book we collect goes to a child — nothing is resold, and nothing goes to landfill.

Definitely. Sharing our Instagram, connecting us with a shelter or school in your area, or volunteering to sort and deliver books all make a real difference. Reach out and we’ll find something that fits.

Either works. Tell us where you are and we’ll coordinate whichever is easier. For larger drives, we almost always come to you.

Gently loved is perfect — small marks and worn corners are fine. We can’t take books with torn pages, water damage, or mold.

Yes. Pick “Partnering as a shelter or org” in the form and tell us who you serve. We’ll follow up with a short call to understand what your families are asking for.

Once we sort them, most books reach a partner shelter within a few weeks. Books that fit an active request often go out the same week.
